A clean rope is a safe rope. A clean rope is a longer lasting rope and prolongs the life of your hardware. 

 

When fine dirt gets in your rope it acts like an abrader. Every time your rope stretches and contracts it is causing unnecessary abrasion on the fibres making it wear quicker than it has to. The other side of the story is that fine dust and dirt on the outside acts like sandpaper going through your biners so your quickdraws can see increased wear. Clean your rope regularly either by hand or in a washing machine and bring it back to life!

 

One packet contains 24ml of rope wash and is good to clean one rope.
